Bio:

Modern Dandelion is an indie New Wave Act based out of Toronto, Ontario. With a sound reminiscent of 80s New Wave, as well as 2000s indie rock, Modern Dandelion brings an energetic live act to small and mid sized venues around Canada. The band formed in 2022 and in 2023 released their “Channels” EP, going on an impromptu BC tour that summer. They released their debut album “This Might Kill Me”(Aug 7 2024) which included a lengthy lead up of singles and videos. They are currently working on a new record, Having just released the first single “Always”

The band lineup consists of Zeki Toyata (Vocals, Guitar), Scott Maxwell (Bass), Mickey Deng (Keyboards), and Julian Duvall (Drums). They also often feature guest performer Ivan Stille (Guitar, Vocals) on songs like “I Can't Do Lyrics” and “Waiting For You”.
